San Francisco...
I was there on the end of December 2001. The stay was 2 days and a morning... It was rainy and cloudy while I was there...
Though it was rainy or cloudy, San Francisco is interesting place to walk!! And I enjoyed a NBA game in Oalkand... It is memoryful place...
#1 : The Bay Bridge... on fogy bay...
#2 : A seagul at the harbour...
#3 : I think the background should be blue sky!!
#4 : Tug boats... I imagine that they work well for keeping harbour trafic in good condition...
#5 : The Golden Gate Bridge... It is bigger than I imagined!!
#6 : A beautiful wall...
#7 : Yes!! It was Christmas time... I imagine that this place is like this photo in this season...
* I took them by my manual camera with nega-films and I scaned the prints...

This season can be called "less snow" than other winter...
The snow had aiready come on Wakkanai for a cupple of time, but they have gone out quickly...
On Sturday, we did not have snow... However they came back on Sunday and still remain...
They say the snow shall remain till the Spring season, at last...
Japanese northern island, Hokkaido is snowful in winter season...
#1 : The snow on Sunday was, a bit, wet kind of one...
#2 : Situation on the road... Take care when you are crossing the road or driving...

Japanese vessel for antarctic expeditions "SHIRASE" came to port of Mombetsu while her training in this September... I visit there...
Mombetsu is on the coast of Okhotsk Sea and about 210 kilometers south from Wakkanai.
The vessel "SHIRASE" is named after the leader of the first Japanese antarctic expedition in 1910...
Now this "SHIRASE" is on the long way to the Antarctica!!
The vessel will back to Japan in April 2005...

These photos are from my latest 56 hours trip...
The views are not at New York, USA... I took these ones at "O-Daiba" area in Tokyo...
Besides New York, Paris has "The statue of Liberty". It is smaller than one at New York...
1998-99 was "The French culture year in Japan". In those days, somebody had rent the statue from Paris and the statue became very populer among people in Tokyo or visitors.
In 1999, it desided to build "copy" and in December 2000, this statue stood here again!!
I think it seems nice!!
#1 : It looks like her elder sister at New York!!
#2 : You can find the statue is smaller one...
